AB0UT + YVAN ANDREU

I was born and raised very close to the world of fashion,

My parents were leather craftsmen and my grandmother was a dressmaker. I have always been fascinated by the power that fashion has to awaken a feeling and an emotion.

As a child I was very curious and I loved exploring and knowing the inside of things. I consider myself a frustrated engineer because I used to disassemble objects, open computers, experiment with code, seeking to create an interaction between technology and things; making something inert suddenly come to life.

Therefore, when I began to enter the world of fashion, I knew very well that I wanted to incorporate technology into my own garments and experiment with it; combine my passion for both worlds.

After my training as a fashion designer, I worked as a freelance creative director for Hawkers, Cetti, Hispanitas and Pedro Miralles. I was a professor of the Master of Fashion and Fashion Management at Instituto 42 and walking in Paris, Antwerp, Milan and at the Feeric Fashion Week in Romania prompted me to found my own brand in 2017: Yvan Andreu.

Yvan Andreu is a brand with a minimalist aesthetic, inspired by futurism and technology. Yvan Andreu defines itself as Future + Couture because it offers garments and accessories that unite art, technology, avant-garde and experimentation, combining artisanal production techniques with innovative materials and techniques, such as 3D printing.

Yvan Andreu and the most recent line, Andrew, are designed for people who want to explore themselves and their own style, who seek exclusivity and originality, who believe that fashion is much more than a garment or an accessory, it is something that has the power to transform us inside and out.

Winning the Samsung Ego Innovation Project award in 2020 and being a finalist at S4Fashion in Greece in 2022 drives me to continue challenging myself, exploring new fashion scenarios and evolving alongside technology.

"Because the future is the dimension where all possibilities exist, the excitement of the unknown pushes me to be a better version of myself."
